Military Simulation Seminar - COTS Tools and Techniques

Los Angeles, CA
April 8, 2008

Three expert simulation companies -- VT MAK, Scalable Network Technologies, and DiSTI -- have collaborated to produce a traveling one-day educational seminar on how to leverage COTS tools and techniques in the design and development of new military simulation applications. "Military Simulation Seminar -- COTS Tools and Techniques" includes demonstrations of the use of COTS tools in Network Centric Warfare simulation, communications modeling, and human machine interfaces, and is complementary for industry, government and military professionals.

The seminars will show how COTS software suppliers are collaborating to provide a high level of interoperability and the advantages these products offer to integrators for capturing contracts on a cost, quality and schedule basis. The seminar schedule includes: Phoenix, AZ (April 21); San Diego, CA (April 23); Newport Beach, CA (April 24); Akron, OH (May 5); Virginia Beach, VA (May 7); and Reston, VA (May 8).
